ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rachelle Apostol
Rachelle Apostol is a respiratory disease specialist with 28 years of experience caring for patients through some of life’s most difficult battles, including the global COVID-19 pandemic. Her writing reflects a deeply personal and compassionate perspective shaped by years of witnessing resilience, loss, survival, and healing.
Inspired by her father’s experiences serving in Vietnam, Rachelle has long felt called to tell stories that honor the unseen struggles carried by veterans, survivors, and those living with trauma. Through her work, she seeks to give voice to pain that is often carried in silence while reminding others that they are not alone in their experiences.
With a writing style that is both diverse and emotionally grounded, Rachelle draws from her own life experiences to explore themes of courage, sacrifice, recovery, and human connection. She believes every story matters and hopes her writing offers understanding, comfort, and recognition to those navigating their own battles.
